I happened upon your website while looking for amstaff breeders in the usa and was impressed with the info you have included on Cliff Ormsby. I purchased a male from Mr.Ormsby in the mid-70's. The dog, Samson, was probably the best dog I've ever owned. I also had a female sired by Samson. The amstaff is such a wonderful breed, I'm hoping to adopt a rescue in the future. Much luck to you!

Hello Ivor and Yvonne, love the website, ye did a great job. Antonia is one pretty lady! For anyone looking at this website, the owners of CromCruaich Kennel are passionate and dedicated to the AmStaff breed and are to be highly commended for their commitment and responsible ethos toward breeding. Congratulations on the first litter!

Thanks Fredreick, there are four breed types banned in the United Kingdom which includes Northern Ireland; one of these types is the pitbull TYPE, "type" is decided by a series of measurements , pedigree papers have no bearing on the outcome unfortunately. It is a badly thought out legislation brought in by politicions who know nothing about responsible dog ownership.

Hello, im not from ur country yet what i read an see is great, but im a little shocked on reading that in the north Amstaffs are Banned that is so sad i really do not no why they would ban such a breed i find them the most loyal, trustworthy an lets face it honest mates are hard to find. its the people or buy or get this breed an do all the wrong things with them, but if its anything like here In Australia its not the breed its what the breed has being crossed with, but no one mentions that. anyway i would like to say keep up the good work an hope to talk to u again.

Site looks good Ivor, had a good look & really well done, good luck & all the best with it, photos are nice, what a poser!

These dogs are illegal anywhere in the north no matter where you are so owning 1 there isn't advisable.

Hi Stephen, pitbull "TYPE's" are illegal in Northern Ireland.

This would be a serious problem for someone hoping to own an amstaff in N.I.

Some councils might make an exception, I do not know about Down , but from what I do know, Derry will not accept amstaff's.

If you can provide proof that Down county council will allow ownership of an amstaff , I will consider your request
